Black & White with Paula

It’s fascinating how the internet and social media connect people all over the world. In our case, social media became a tool to meet up and work with like-minded & creative people. Paula is London-based model and blogger traveling to Dubai for a week, she approached me for a collab shoot and I’d be making a mistake if I say no to that beauty. For this shoot, I opted for a natural makeup that emphasizes her natural beauty. We just wanted everything authentic and as raw as it could get, in fact, these photos are edited minimally – no skin retouching done. My good friend and one of my most trusted photographers, Joem perfectly captured Paula’s personality- candid, fun and a natural stunner. Friendship Goals: Alesya & Emma

“Women understand. We may share experiences, make jokes, paint pictures, and describe humiliations that mean nothing to men, but women understand. The odd thing about these deep and personal connections of women is that they often ignore barriers of age, economics, worldly experience, race, culture — all the barriers that, in male or mixed society, had seemed so difficult to cross.”   – Gloria Steinem A couple of weeks ago, I’ve had an amazing opportunity to work with an all female team. I was about to name this series of photos, ‘ Rooftop Series’ how creative could I be, right? but scrolling through the photos I was awestruck with how Alesya & Emma worked well together. These girls don’t know each other at all, they just saw each other on the day of the shoot but they look like they’ve been friends for ages!   Did these photos made you miss your best friend/ girl squad like I did? Come on, they’re just a call/message away! I know you’ve missed them after looking at these photos! <3 Hair …
